Assam is the world's single largest tea growing region. Although tea plants have always grown wild in assam, tea was not cultivated here until the 1830's. Assam teas are prized for their rich, malty, robust cup character. They make good breakfast teass and go well with milk.
Ingredients: Organic black tea from Rembeng Estate, Assam
We recommend an infusing method designed for high quality loose tea, giving it plenty of room to expand and unfurl. Loose tea can be infused a second time, and some tea drinkers say even a 3rd. Infusing instructions specific to each tea or tisane are indicated on each tea label.
