There's some confusion about caffeine comparisons between tea and coffee. Basically, one pound of dry black tea and one pound of coffee beans contain similar amounts of caffeine, but a pound of tea will make over three times the amount of brewed tea compared to coffee. In general, a cup of tea contains about a third of the caffeine in an average cup of brewed coffee. The caffeine levels we've categorized here, are just levels of teas and are NOT related to coffee.
We also recommend that you read more about the "quality" and caffeine types in Matcha Green Tea. It's a WONDERFUL source of a beneficial caffeine.
*At this time, all the caffeine free teas and tisanes we carry are natural. We do not carry "decaffeinated" teas.
