How many cups of tea will 2 oz of loose leaf make?
Generally speaking, 2 oz will make around 20-25 8 oz cups. When you make iced tea, you want to double this amount of tea per water to allow for the ice dilution of your beverage.
How long do I steep tea?
The rule of thumb is 2-3 minutes for green tea, 4 minutes for oolong, mate & white tea, and 5 minutes for black tea and herbals. Each of your teas will include steeping instructions their ingredient labels for your convenience.
How do i purchase 8 oz of tea and have it packed in your paper storage canisters?
At this time, you'll need to order 2 of our 4 oz teas, which include the canister, but the discount will not apply. Once we receive larger canisters to hold 8 oz, we'll offer them for a minimum charge, so you'll still receive the generous 20% discount off your 8 oz purchase.
Is your tea fresh?
Absolutely! We keep low quantities, to ensure freshness, and then pack each loose leaf order fresh as orders come in. Pouches are then heat-sealed.
Do you do blending?
